Here is an overview of how IRI uses IRI CoSort as a processing engine to deliver faster business intelligence (BI) results and analytic capabilities. As you can see, there are three distinctive processes that are possible. The first is to use CoSort as a reporting tool to process raw data and draw informational results as your output. The next is to use CoSort as your data processing engine that feeds into many major BI tools for direct use and analytics. Finally, CoSort is Built on Eclipse and uses ODA drivers to directly interact with BIRT which is an open source analytic tool also available in Eclipse. Either way, any of these paths can deliver faster and more effective processing for your business intelligence needs.
