Voracity II

Prerequisites

  • Voracity I

Requirements

Demonstrate proficiency with the flat-file profiling, DB profiling, E-R diagramming, data classification, PII discovery, and (structured) metadata discovery wizards in the IRI Workbench. Build and run a data transformation, cleansing, and/or masking job on a local or remote server, and automate a job or batch script in the onboard task scheduler. Identify and explain the uses of Voracity tooling in data and schema migration, ETL and data quality, data protection and lineage.

Voracity III

Prerequisites

  • Voracity II

Requirements

Create an ETL workflow from a wizard in Workbench (e.g., the JOIN job), or build one from scratch using component wizard and scripting. Identify data mapping, masking, and generation rules, and apply each in a workflow; e.g., in a database subsetting job. Preview the output of a flowlet with production or test data. Establish and test a JDBC and ODBC connection to a legacy, big data, or cloud data source in DTP and a SortCL (or compatible IRI) job script. Create a detail and summary report with more than one output format (e.g., the stockjoin.scl example). Identify and explain the competitive advantages of Voracity in data integration and analytics per https://www.iri.com/solutions/data-integration/implement.

Cost

$100 USD
