DarkShield I

Prerequisites

  • None

Requirements

Install and license the DarkShield API engines (base, file, RDB and NoSQL) for use in the IRI Workbench GUI for Voracity on Windows or on Linux. Configure the use of the Data Class and Rules Library for use with the DarkShield new search/mask job wizards. Configure DarkShield job wizards (and save data connection profiles for re-use within) for searching and masking PII in text, document, and image files, or a supported NoSQL database, on-premise or in the cloud.

Differentiate and demonstrate the use of location (metadata) vs. data (content) matchers in search operations, and between deterministic and non-deterministic rules in masking jobs. Show and explain the contents of the various log artifacts (including the annotations.json or results.json files) produced from search and masking jobs. Configure and display aggregate data views in the HTML5 dashboard charts. Optionally export a JSON log and open it in an external log analytic or SIEM tool like Splunk ES.
